The COVID-19 epidemic has opened the eyes of people around the world on how important maintaining cleanliness really is. The Villa Group Resorts have been preparing the return of their guests by implementing new standards and policies from infectious disease specialists. The furniture in restaurants, common areas, and around the pool has been rearranged, so they are 6 feet apart. The fitness center will also have stricter sanitation measures. In order to use the gym, all guests must make a reservation ahead of time, and there will only be a certain number of guests allowed in the gym at the same time.
- Updates for Food and Beverages
There have been updates in the food and beverage departments: The employees that work in these areas have completed specialized training to ensure all food and beverages in restaurants are handled with extra care. In room dining and buffet dining will receive additional modifications as well.
- Extra Changes
Villa Group has made additional changes, so guests and staff members will have less contact. For example, for the time being valet parking and meal preparation in rooms is currently suspended. Also, there have been special protocols set up that will be followed if the resort suspects a COVID-19 case. Each resort has a special team, which includes a General Manager, Head of Security, and a Licensed MD (Medical Doctor).
