The COVID-19 epidemic has opened the eyes of people around the world on how important maintaining cleanliness really is. The Villa Group Resorts have been preparing the return of their guests by implementing new standards and policies from infectious disease specialists. In addition, they have also been certified from PREVERISK who actually specialize in preventative practices. The Villa Group is determined to provide the highest level of sanitation, disinfection, and hygiene practices in all rooms and common areas. They have also created a Hygiene and Health Program, too.

  • New Cleanliness Standards Include:

  1. Suitcase sanitizing
  2. Security Seals when rooms have been cleaned and disinfected
  3. Temperature readings for guests and staff

In common areas, all high-touch surfaces will be sanitized often. Hospital grade disinfectants and certified sanitation products will be used. There will also be sanitizing stations at the front desk, at restaurant entrances, and in public areas. After each guest’s stay, each room will be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized. There will be no paper amenities in the rooms. However, these can be provided by request only. These new standards of deep cleaning and limiting contact between resort guests and staff will help keep everyone safe and healthy. 

  • Requirements for Social Distancing 

It has been proven that social distancing reduces the spread of viruses and other germs. As a result, the Villa Group Timeshare Resorts have added signs around the resorts to remind guests to practice social distancing, which is 2 meters. The furniture in restaurants, common areas, and around the pool has been rearranged, so they are 6 feet apart. The fitness center will also have stricter sanitation measures.  In order to use the gym, all guests must make a reservation ahead of time, and there will only be a certain number of guests allowed in the gym at the same time. 

  • Updates for Food and Beverages

There have been updates in the food and beverage departments: The employees that work in these areas have completed specialized training to ensure all food and beverages in restaurants are handled with extra care. In room dining and buffet dining will receive additional modifications as well. 

  • Extra Changes

Villa Group has made additional changes, so guests and staff members will have less contact. For example, for the time being valet parking and meal preparation in rooms is currently suspended. Also, there have been special protocols set up that will be followed if the resort suspects a COVID-19 case. Each resort has a special team, which includes a General Manager, Head of Security, and a Licensed MD (Medical Doctor).
